Description

The 7 Alarm Mutual Aid Run is a fundraising event to benefit these neighboring fire departments. Though the towns are located in different states, Stafford in CT and Wales in MA, each reach across the state line to offer assistance.  The event also supports Worcester Box 4 - an incident rehab center for first responders.

The event starts out with an siren send off as engines from both towns lead you out. The rolling 7 mile course will take you across state lines from Wales, MA to Stafford, CT.  The course is open and will be run with traffic.  Two aid stations are available along the way (approx 2 miles & 5 miles in).  Runners will have the option to 'ring the bell' at the finish line. 

Shuttles will be available for participants due to the point-to-point nature of the event.

The course is a rolling 7 miles, passing 2 lakes along the way.

Directions

The start line is located at 3 Hegan Road in Wales Ma (Wales Fire). The finish is 7 miles south on Route 19 at the Stafford Fire Department.
