The 6th Annual ODDyssey Half Marathon, a race designed by runners for runners, will attract 3,000 participants to Philadelphias scenic Fairmount Park for an event focused on providing runners with a great experience both on and off the 13.1-mile course.
On race day, runners will gather at Memorial Hall, the start of the course which features some of Philadelphias most popular running loops. Runners will navigate through the Belmont Plateau in scenic Fairmount Park, run through East Park and continue past the Schuylkill River on Kelly Drive. After crossing the iconic East Falls Bridge, runners will continue onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive on the other side of the Schuylkill River. Runners will finish the race back at Memorial Hall where they will be congratulated with a medal and a post-race bash.
ODDyssey features a USA Track and Field certified course, advanced chip timing system, and cash prizes for top finishers. Runners can also add to their experience by stepping off the course to participate in optional challenges along the way and by joining the annual costume competition.
