2014 Zion Half Marathon ~ Results

2014 Zion Half Marathon:

The second year of this incredible race is going to be bigger and better.

Starting on the edge of the small town of Virgin, UT runners will follow the scenic Virgin River along Highway 9 through the small towns of Rockville and Springdale.

The course is a gradual uphill run. While the first few miles feel flat, overall there is an average of a 35 feet gain for every mile.

The route is through the beautiful red rock formations that lead up to breathtaking Zion National Park.

The famous red rock cliffs begin to surround the course in the final 3 miles and the view is inspiring as the sun peaks over the rocks all before you finish at the Zion Giant Screen Theater just outside the park's southern entrance.

After the race be sure to hike the world renowned Angels Landing to join the Angels Club and receive a discount for the 2015 registration.
