2014 Kent Island Metric Marathon & Metric Half Marathon:

Preparing for a Marathon or Half Marathon? 
 Come enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Eastern Shore and run the Kent Island Metric Marathon or Half Marathon.

 Want to challenge yourself beyond a 10K or half? This race is for you.  

Course Info

The course for the KIMM is paved and generally flat. 
 The majority of the course is on a paved bike/walking path. 
 Both the Full and Half Metric will follow the same course (miles 1-6) through the private waterfront community, Queen Anne Colony.

 The Halfers will split off from the Fulls at Congressional Drive in Queen Anne Colony to complete a half mile loop before exiting the community and heading back to the start/finish line.

 As the groups split, the Fulls will proceed out of the community and back onto the South Island Trail for miles 6.127.64.

 The course will enter a second waterfront community, Kent Island Estates, for the next 2 miles before heading back onto the trail.

 The turnaround point is at the picturesque Romancoke Pier on Eastern Bay; the return course follows the South Island Trail straight back to Matapeake State Park.
