FYMOS 5K CANCER RUN/WALK ON JULY 13, 2013

FYMOs Giving to Live 5K Cancer Run/Walk is an exciting event held every year in the middle of summer. Family, friends, co-workers and community groups are encouraged to participate in this non-competitive, high energy, fun Run/Walk. At this event, we offer education materials to bring awareness about Cancer. We also honor those who are living or have been touched by Cancer. This is our contribution in helping people get well and stay well. Proceeds from the events directly benefit Cancer patients currently undergoing treatment.

If you know anyone who has or had Cancer, please come out support the cause in their honor!

The money raised is distributed directly by Fashion Your Mind Organization, a 501 (c) (3) public charity. Grants are given directly to local and regional cancer patients for health related cost such as; medication costs, living expenses, transportation costs, supportive services and home care costs. Offering support to the medically disadvantage is always FYMOs key priority.

EVENT DETAILS

Although this is a non-competitive family-friendly event, the results for the top 5 runners will be posted. We want everyone to come join us, get exercise and honor someone touched by Cancer! The 5K Run/Walk will follow the Los Alamitos Creek Trail at the beautiful Almaden Lake Park, located in San Jose, CA. Also, another 5K on August 3, 2013 will be within the perimeters of Elk Grove Regional Park in Elk Grove, CA.
