Description
2013 Route 66 10K:
City of Braidwood is hosting their first 10K Run along with a 5K walk.
The 10k will include the old Route 66.
Both races will also run along the Braidwood Lake.
Come see our part of the famous "Mother Road"and enjoy a day in the country.
Course Info
Course wil be on our website www.braidwood.us by March 1, 2013.
Course includes part of Braidwood Lake and also former Route 66.
Directions
Braidwood is located on Illinois Route 113, right off I-55 at exit #236.
Exit 236 (Coal City/Kankakee)turn south on Route 113 and follow that into the city limits.
Stay on Route 113 (Main St) and follow to Reed Custer High School (Comet Drive).
Turn right on Comet Drive and go passed the tennis courts and turn left.
Follow that drive for a short distance (2 tenths of a mile or so) and the Field House is on your left.
