Description

This is an event for the whole family! And the 5k Run and Youth Mile Run are DISPOSABLE CHIP TIMED! The event begins with the Youth Mile Run at 8:30am.; the 5k Run/Walk follows at 9:00am; and the event ends with the Little Feets Dash at 10:00am and the Awards Ceremony presentation at 10:15am. Included are live music, free massages, face painting, balloon animals, and much more! Free technical running tee & goodie bags guaranteed to first 300 5k Run/Walk registrants. Shirts given thru race day while supplies last. T-shirt and participation ribbon given to all Youth Mile Run registrants (two categories: Age (10-12) and age (9 & under). Little Feets Dash is for ages 9 & under with goodie bag to all. Sorry, no shirts. This event uses a USATF certified race course. 5k Run awards given in 12 age categories, separate male and female. Top 3 male and female in each age category. Awards given also to the overall top 3 male and female finishers. Awards given to top 3 boys and girls, separate, in Youth Mile Run in each of 2 age categories (age 9 & under and age 10-12). Baby strollers allowed. No pets or bikes please. No refunds. All results will be posted online at www.realtiminginc.com.

Course Info

This USATF certified 5k course (IL-12074-JW) begins and ends at the Mooseheart Fieldhouse. The course is a combination of asphalt and gravel surface that winds through the Mooseheart campus and around the lake finishing the loop at the Fieldhouse. Strollers ARE allowed. Please NO bikes, skates, or pets.

Directions

The Mooseheart Campus is located at the northwest corner of Route 31 and Mooseheart Rd. just south of Batavia, IL. Parking is available on the Mooseheart Campus.

5k Run winner will be determined by the participants CHIP TIME.

5k Walkers will NOT be timed.
