OMC Fun Run 5K ~ Results

Registration
Participants wishing to take advantage of the early registration discount must submit their registration forms by 5 p.m. April 6. Those registering by April 6 will receive their free t-shirt on event day. Participants who register after April 6 may opt to pick up their free t-shirt at the OMC Public Relations Office after April 29 OR designate t-shirt money to assist OMC Cancer Treatment Center patients. The OMC Public Relations Department is located at Parkway Shopping Center and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Participants who pre-register must check in at the appropriate station the day of the race to confirm they are present and pick up their race number and T-shirt. Please see below for information about race day registration.

Online Registration
Participants may also register online at www.active.com. A $3.25 processing fee is charged by the site. Family registrations cannot be done online.

Stretching Clinic
OMC Wellness and Rehabilitation Services will conduct a stretching clinic to help participants warm up for their event. The clinic will be held near the start line at 8:45 a.m.

Event Day Registration
Entrants may register the day of the race. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the start line area in front of the Shaw Medical Building, 1111 Kentucky Avenue. The stretching clinic begins at 8:45 a.m. near the start line. All race events begin at 9 a.m.

Prizes
Trophies will be awarded in the 5K Run to the five overall male and female finishers. Medals will be awarded to three male and female finishers in each age division, who are not in the top five overall.
Students may qualify for the Thick with Spirit award, a spirit stick presented to the school represented by the most students who finish their particular event. A Team Spirit Award will be presented to the team of five or more participants who demonstrate the most spirit during the event. Teams of friends, coworkers, etc. should declare their team name on the registration form. Teams qualify for a discount rate. See reverse side for details.
Weather permitting, the awards ceremony will be held outside near the finish line area once results have been tabulated.

Start Line & Parking
This years race will begin and end at the Shaw Medical Building, 1111 Kentucky Avenue, West Plains. Parking at the Shaw Building will be limited and reserved for handicap participants and visitors of the hospital. Parking is available in lots on the OMC campus and at the Parkway Shopping Center. Porta-Potty facilities will be available near the start line. The race begins at 9 a.m.
