Description
On the morning of February 20, 2013, Keira joined God's angels. This bubbly, loving, and caring four year old was diagnosed with a genetic condition known as Down Syndrome.
In wake of her passing, this 5K Run/Walk was created by the loving friends of Keira's family. All proceeds earned by "Tiaras for Keira" will be donated to the Down Syndrome Association of Western Kentucky.
"Tiaras for Keira" will consist of a 5K run, a 1 mile walk, and a silent auction. The silent auction will begin as registration opens and will remain open throughout the race.
This will not be like any other 5K Run/Walk! You are encouraged to BYOT (bring your own tiara) and wear it to/during the event! Tiaras will be given as trophies and shirts will be on sale.
Those who pre-register will qualify for a free "Tiaras for Keira" t-shirt. Otherwise, they are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
