Description

A 5 and 10 mille trail loop along the historic Sterling Mine Ditch trail. Elevation gain of 500 ft./ 5 mile, and 1500 ft./ 10 mile. A very scenic run along the Little Applegate River and through historic gold mining country. Cash prizes for the top 3 male and female runners for the 10 mile race.

Directions

1. Go up Route 238 from town of Jacksonvile, OR to Ruch, OR
2. Turn left on Upper Applegate Rd., for 2.9 miles
3. Turn left on Little Applegate Rd., for 9.7 miles to Tunnel Ridge Trailhead - the last 3.7 miles is on gravel road.
