About This Event
Welcome to the Sonics BOOM 5K Run and Walk. We are excited you will be joining us as we raise money for scholarships at Santa Maria School. Whether you are registering for fun or to meet a personal goal, we thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you at the finish line.

Awards
Awards will be given to those who place 1st & 2nd (both Male and Female) in each respective age group up to age 60. All children under the age of 10 who complete the race will be awarded a ribbon.
Age Categories for Medals: 10 and Under,11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and Over.
Overall male and female will win $100.00 cash prize and a FREE pair of running shoes compliments of Golden Legs Running.

Strollers and walkers will be permitted at the back of the line. No dogs, roller blades, bicycles, or skateboards allowed.

Packet Pick-Up
Saturday, May 4th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Golden Legs Racing, 508 North Seymour Avenue, Mundelein, IL 60060. Race day packet pickup starts at 7:00 am at Independence Grove.

On-Site Registration
On-site registration will be available beginning at 7:00 am. The cost for Adults will be $35.00 and children 15 and under will be $30.00.
T-shirts are not guaranteed during on-site registration. Registration will cut off at 7:45 am in order to ensure a prompt start at 8:00 am. Please spread the word about this great race!
