Run, Walk & Wag 5K ~ Results

• Run, Walk & Wag 5K :- Run 3.1 Miles

Join animal lovers on June 8 to benefit the Northern Virginia Spay Neuter Clinic and The Philip Bolen Memorial Park for the 2nd annual Run, Walk & Wag 5k run and pet expo! Run 5k on our USATF Certified cross country course, run or walk in our dog and family friendly 1 mile fun run or participate in one of our doggie contests. The 5k will be a professionally timed race with awards going to 1^st and 2^nd place winners in each age category.

5k / 1 Mile Fun Run: 5k will start at 9:00 a.m., and the Walk & Waggers (1 Mile Fun Run) will start at 9:10 a.m. Once runners and walkers return there will be a pet parade where judges will vote on the best doggie costume.

Pet Expo: ($5 to attend on race day) Agility and K-9 demonstrations, a doggie/owner lookalike contest and fastest tail wag and loudest bark contests. There will also be various doggie games, vendors, giveaways, a silent auction, a live DJ, drinks and snacks. Awards will be given to contest and doggie games winners. 

Packet Pickup: Friday, June 7 from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Philip Bolen Memorial Park

This is a fun family event. Spend the day at the park with your pet, family and friends.  Check out the many different pet vendors, run a 5k race, participate in the 1 mile fun run or enter your dog in one of our pet contests. Come join in the fun!

Proceeds from the Run, Walk & Wag benefit Northern Virginia Spay Neuter Clinic and The Philip Bolen Memorial Park. We are asking you to support this event on June 8, 2013, helping the clinic provide much needed services to pets in Northern Virginia and Bolan Park to continue to enhance their educational programs.
