5K Run and 5K Walk
All proceeds from the event benefit local HIV service organizations that are committed to providing care to those affected by HIV/AIDS. In addition, these organizations educate the community about HIV/AIDS, provide testing opportunities, and are dedicated to reducing the number of infections in northern Nevada.

Course Info
Registration, Start & Finish lines, along with the AIDS Walk Vendor
Village will be held at Idlewild Park. The run and both walks will
travel from Idlewild Park to downtown Reno, utilizing the scenic path
that navigates along the river to downtown and back to the park.

Enter as a team or individual.
This year, the walk will include a Paws for the Cause Dog Walk. In an effort to create additional funding and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS, dog owners are invited to enter their dog in the Dog Walk and have their friends and family sponsor their dogs. The top three fundraisers will receive prizes.
All dogs must be be friendly, leashed and up to date on vaccinations. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
The AIDS Walk/Run Vendor Village will feature a variety of vendors including health & wellness booths, free HIV testing, food vendors, running & sports vendors, pet supplies and more!
All events are held Rain or Shine.
