Description
2013 Laugh-and-a-half-marathon, 10K & 5K:
The Laugh-and-a-half-marathon was created to promote wellness and to honor a comedy legend from Norfolk, Nebraska, Johnny Carson.
All proceeds benefit pediatric needs in northeast Nebraska.
Course Info
The start and finish area for all races except the 1 mile kids fun run will be near the stoplight intersection at 801 Riverside Boulevard.
The 1 mile kids fun run will be held on the Norfolk Senior High School track.
Please view the map for route details.
Directions
Parking areas will be located on the west and south side of Norfolk Senior High School (parking lots at 6th Street and Maple Avenue) as well as street parking on the west side of the track. Please park in designated areas only.

Awards: Half-Marathon: Overall male and female race winners receive the following: 1st place: $200 and winner's trophy, 2nd place: $100, 3rd place: $50 All age division winners receive a special winner's medal. All half-marathon finishers receive a special finisher medal. 10K and 5K: Overall male and female race winners receive a winner's trophy. Overall 2nd and 3rd place male and female race winners receive a special winner's medal. All age division winners receive a special winner's medal. Age Divisions: 14 and under; 15-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+ Half-Marathon Relay: Each member on the overall winning relay team receives a special winner's medal. 1 Mile Kids Fun Run: Race time as well as a participant ribbon is given to all runners. Participants must complete the entire distance (1 mile) to be eligible for special awards. Awards will be given to the top 3 in each age division. Age divisions: 7 and under, 8-12.
