Description

The Lucky Dog Jog is a 5K fundraiser for Lucky Dog Rescue. Lucky Dog Rescue is dedicated to saving unwanted dogs and finding them forever homes. Passionate about the prevention of cruelty to animals, we want to be a leader within the Colorado Springs community and educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, while advocating for animals that have no voice, by offering training and other resources as alternatives to re-homing. Along with the 5K there will be vendors, food, games, prizes and K-9 Olympics! Dogs are very welcome to join their owners in the race or just come out and visit.

The course is a 5K through Bear Creek Park.

Directions

From I-25 head west on Cimarron St (Hwy 24). Turn left(south) on 21st street and Bear Creek Park will be about 5 miles down the road on your right. It is just past Bear Creek Dog Park on the corner of 21st street and Argus Blvd.

This event is a fundraiser event and all proceeds go to helping Lucky Dog Rescue save more dogs from high kill shelters and various other situations. If you would like please bring your dog out to be apart of the event. We will also have a 1 mile run that starts at 9:10AM and K-9 olympics from 930-1230.
