Band on the Run
- Band on the Run:- Run 3.1 Miles
Run along the newly redeveloped Cherry Creek path! 2 loops make up the 5K, and the Kids Run will be an out and back.
Jay Stickney, Actor, Comedian and Voice of DU Pioneer Hockey will MC the race along with Performing Arts Students from Chaparral High School. The Wolverine Marching Band will Perform, as well as special appearances by Chaparral High School Encore Players and Theatre Students.
Race Day
Costumes Welcome and Encouraged! Think, The Beatles, Music Celebrities, Actors, Superheroes... Random prizes will be awarded!
Luan Akin, Tagawa's Outreach Ambassador and Denver TV News Veteran will be selling Tagawa Gift Cards the day of the race. Every person that purchases a gift gard will also receive Tagawa's BeeGreen Card good for $10 off any $40 purchase. The gift cards and BeeGreen Cards can be used at any time, but Tagawa will also be offering a special incentive for purchases made on race day.
This event promises to be a fun, entertainment filled and healthy morning for the entire family! An after-run snack will also be served.
