Description

Come enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Marion County Lake while helping to support the students of Marion Elementary School!  The 5K run will begin at 9:00 a.m. on the Marion County Lake Dam and finish at the Lake Hall.  The 1 Mile Fun Run will start at 9:15 a.m.  Awards and numerous, wonderful door prizes will be presented during a post race breakfast which is free for all participants. 
Please complete and mail the attached registration form before October 17th.  Race day registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Marion County Lake Hall.  The fee for the 5K is $20 which includes a long sleeve T-shirt.  The 1 Mile Fun Run is free or $10 if ordering a long sleeve T-shirt.

Course Info

During the run, you will wind around the popular family destination of the Marion County Lake with its commemorative CCC Workers statue and beautiful examples of the classic, hand laid stonework of the 1930s. 

Directions

Marion County Lake is located 4 miles southeast of Marion, Kansas near the intersection of Highway 256 and Highway 77.  Please note that this event is held at the Marion County Lake, not the Marion Reservoir.
