Ohio State's Ross Heart Hospital 5K is walk/run event in which participants take over Easton Town Center to raise awareness for heart health on Saturday, February 8, 2014.

You can choose to either run or walk the 5K (3.1 miles) perfect if you are looking for some exercise to keep your New Year's resolution.

The entry fee proceeds benefit Ohio States Ross Heart Hospital research on the prevention of the number cause of death, heart disease.  All but $10 of your entry fee is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution.

Free for children ages 12 and under

Bring your children, nieces, grandchildren because kids ages 12 and under can participate for free in the Ross Heart Hospital 5K when a parent or guardian registers. Just select "yes, I'd like to register a child" when you register.
