Description
Like May's Dandelion Run, this is one tough, beautiful, dirt road marathon course through "The Gut" of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont at the height of Fall Foliage. Three distances: Marathon (26.2), Half Marathon (13.1) and Iconoclast (17). Relay options on the marathon. All abilities and ages of runners, bikers, and hikers will find a vista riddled route perfect for them. Adding to make this a great day, we will be offering a 26.2 mile competitive trail ride for the equestrians among us.
For one day in October we'll take over these back roads. And great pie at both ends, thanks to Parker Pie Wings and Parker Pie, West Glover. We are in the process of certifying this marathon.
This event is run in partnership with Kingdom Trails, Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Old Stone House Museum, Barton Area Chamber of Commerce, Northwoods Stewardship Center, and Parker Pie.
