Course Info

The Have a Heart Run starts at beautiful Edgewater Park in Mount Vernon, just West of the Skagit River. This year's race is professionally managed by Skagit Runners.

The timed 5k and 10k (certified) course is fairly flat and runs south along parts of the Skagit River dikes and beautiful farm lands.

The 2k course runs north along the Skagit River and is stroller and pet-friendly. This course will not be timed and is enjoyable for the whole family.

The half-pint half-mile is free for kids ages 18 months - 9 years old. This is a non-competitive event designed for fun and laughs as the little ones run off some energy. Children are to be accompanied by an adult. We encourage familes to seek pledges for their little runners.

Directions

Edgewater Park:

From I-5, take exit 226. Turn West onto Kincaid Street. Turn right onto South 3rd Street (which becomes West Division Street). Turn left onto South Ball Street (after bridge). Park is on the left.
