2014 Right Steps CDC 5k Run/Walk:

Not only will the first Right Steps Run be a fun and healthy way to spend a morning or provide a great opportunity to train for a later race, it will also support many children in families who need help to afford high quality child care. Right Steps' mission to provide and advocate for quality child care and early education is based on our belief that all children deserve quality child care that prepare them for future success. Please help us make that happen! Online registration is $25 and guarantees you a shirt. Day of race registration is from 8:00 to 8:45 on 4/5/14 at Prophetstown State Park at a cost of $30. Register early, and become part of a great cause!!!

Course Info

Interesting location for a fast, flat run in beautiful surroundings. Prophetstown features a 12 foot wide asphalt trail, picnic areas with large shelters and modern restrooms. Family event with playgrounds available for young children. Post food available and award ceremony at end of event. All proceeds benefit a sliding fee scale to ensure all children have access to high quality child care.
