Description
The 2nd Annual Drop 13 Half Marathon at Big Cottonwood Canyon starts near Brighton Ski Resort and runs 13.1 miles down (around 3000 feet of elevation drop) into the Salt Lake City Area. Plan on this being one of the fastest runs you will ever do in a Half Marathon.

The Drop13 Half Marathon starts near Brighton Ski Resort high in Big Cottonwood Canyon. This Spring time run has ideal conditions for a Half with a cool start and temperatures getting toward the high 70's or low 80's.. Late Spring time is great in the canyon due to snow run off with streams flowing and green trees are growing. The elevation on this course drops around 3000 feet between the start and finish with almost no level or uphill areas of running.

This event has a bused in start. The bus loading site is at Cottonwood Corporate Center: 2795 E. Cottonwood Parkway (in South Parking Lot) Salt Lake City, Utah.
