Description

A great glow in the dark Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K on the Legacy Parkway Trail System. This event gives free glow sticks for runners to aid them on their run. On the course runners will find more glow sticks to aid their run and flashing reflectors as well. This paved trail race will be under a full moon as well. At the finish line we will have black lights, music and more fun. All Half Marathon Finishers will receive a medal and if they beat the midnight hour they will have their medal flashing.

Course Info

The Legacy Midnight Run is a bused out start Half Marathon that starts in North Salt Lake and runs 13.1 miles to the Davis Fair Grounds and a great lit up finish area. 10K and 5K options are available as well, which start at the Finish Line and run out and back on the course. The course is very flat. The course will treated for mosquitos the night prior so running in July is more enjoyable with few pests. The course follows a the Legacy Parkway Trail System and is 100% closed to cars and traffic with only one intersection. Safety is our prime goal while running at night. The course is lighted by the full moon as well as glow sticks of runners ahead on the course. This course also follows the Legacy Parkway Hwy and I-15 which give another layer of illumination. Headlamps are not required but can improve your visibility.
