Teal Ribbon Run- Come Run or Walk Sexual Violence Out Of Oxford County

• Teal Ribbon Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness month, the TEAL RIBBON RUN 5K, will be held in April as not only a fundraiser for SAPARS, but as a way of linking the community into physical activity.  The 5K event will bring awareness to sexual violence and the services that are offered for all affected by sexual assault.  Along the 5K course will posters highlighting sexual violence statistics, services offered in the community and ways to support the mission of the agency.  Resources will be available at the beginning and end of the 5K run.  Staff and advocates will also be available to answer any questions.    This event will bring together all ages in a creative way to run sexual assault out of the local community!

Registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m. with the 5K kicking off at 10 a.m. Registration will be $20.  $15 if registered by April 1^st.  Participants 12 years old and younger, registration is waived. All ages will be invited to participate with prizes given at the end of the event for a variety of categories. Water will be served along the course with snacks and prizes be given at the end.
