Event kicks off with a chip-timed 5K and 10K race through historic Huntington Woods. Medals will be awarded to all runners with prizes awarded to the top male and female finishers overall. The celebration also includes a walk or leisurely stroll around the zoo, with teams competing in a friendly scavenger hunt. In addition to free admission to the zoo, the event features lively entertainment, mascots, a tin can auction, make-and-take childrens projects and delicious refreshments.

The stampede is more fun if you get the herd out: Gather friends and family to form a team and gather donations! Fundraising is not required, but strongly encouraged to help us fund scleroderma support, education and research toward a cure. Top fundraisers will be recognized and rewarded. In addition, walkers and runners who raise $50 or more to fight scleroderma will get a free Stampede Scleroderma t-shirt!
