Cubs Charities kick off baseball season with the 9th Annual  Race to Wrigley 5k. Voted Best 5k in the Midwest in 2013 by Competitor magazine, last years event drew approximately 6,000 runners and raised over $300,000 for Lurie Childrens Hospital. Presented by Athletico Physical Therapy, Race to Wrigley will feature local Biggest Loser winner Danni Allen as the official race starter.  Runners can expect a new course that starts and finishes at the legendary Wrigley Field plus a fun swag bag that includes a long sleeve athletic shirt.  Individual participants and/or groups are invited to make every step count by fundraising as a runner, in support of a runner or by being a virtual runner.  Just like years past, Cubs Charities will donate all fundraising proceeds to Lurie Childrens Hospital.

Anyone interested in participating can sign up at www.race-Cubs.com.   Limited parking will be available in the Green Lot (on Grace just east of Clark) of Wrigley Field as well as meters within the area.  Please take notice of no parking and 'zone parking' signs.
