The Port Royal Girls Running Club has been working hard all year to run FASTER, get STRONGER, and live a SUPER healthy lifestyle. Just like all of the most powerful Superheroes, they sometimes need a little help from their friends, family and community. That's where you come in! Just a small donation and a big turnout will help our girls raise enough money to run in an official 5k. It's that simple, and you will really have a chance to SAVE THE DAY!
WHEN: April 26, 2014 Race starts 8:00 AM sharp for runners and 8:15 AM for walkers.
WHERE: Live Oaks Park (next to the Port Royal Elementary Playground)
WHAT: A full length 5k through beautiful Port Royal, SC. All proceeds go toward the Port Royal Elementary 4th and 5th Grade Girls Run Club and Port Royal Elementary School.
WHO: Whether your a runner or an endurance walker, we welcome anyone interested in some good exercise for a great cause.

RACE DAY INFO:
The race starts at 8:00 am for runners and 8:15 am for walkers on April 26, 2014. The course starts and finishes at Live Oaks Park. (The park beside Port Royal Elementary school and playground)
Timed event
Registration: Must be registered by April 21st, 2014.
Packet pickup: Friday, April 25, 2014 from 4-6 pm at Port Royal Elementary, or at the on-site registration table from 7:00-7:30 am on the day of the race.
Superhero attire/costumes highly encouraged on race day. Costume contest at conclusion of race and prize will be given for best male costume and best female costume.
Awards: Medals to the top male and female overall (18&older)
Medals to the top boy and girl (under 18). Awards will be given out at 10:00 am.
Event t-shirts guaranteed to participants who register before April 1.
Strollers welcome in this run/walk event.
Pets are not welcome as runners in this event.
