Description

Kick off your race season in style with the Run for the Roses 5k Run/Walk in beautiful Alexandria, MN. All fitness levels, ages & experience are welcome! Starting near downtown's 'Big Ole', you'll follow the Central Lakes Data Trail through gorgeous scenery with minimal elevation changes. Proceeds support historic Theatre L'homme Dieu. You never know what you'll find as you gallop along the trail...themed water stations, derby hats, perhaps a pony?Theatre L'Homme Dieu always puts on a good show! Performance t-shirts & refreshments for all participants! The always anticipated annual Kentucky Derby party and fundraiser will follow at the Minnesota Lakes Maritime Museum - including live entertainment, prizes, and a new Zero K (for those not built for speed). Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite fancy hat, or Kentucky derby attire! Giddy-up!
