Location: 16 miles south of Big Timber in McLeod, Montana
Description: The 9th Annual Raw Deal Run Community Fundraiser, coordinated by Sweet Grass Health and Wellness, will be held on Saturday October 11, 2014. The fun run is located at the Raw Deal Ranch, 16 miles south of Big Timber in McLeod, MT. Race day consists of a 6M run, a 3M walk/run and a 1M kids Cow Poke Lope. Winners receive prizes of locally produced meat. Enjoy a Halloween Costume Contest and free Chili Feed! Registration available early June online at http://www.sghw.org/. Course Info
The course is a mixture of flat ground and gentle sloping hills on dirt roads. It takes participants through breath-taking scenery on two private ranches in the Boulder River valley that allow unprecedented access for this event. The start and finish of all events will be at the Raw Deal Ranch barn
Directions
From Big Timber, take McLeod Street (Route 298) heading south. Drive for approximately 16 miles. The Raw Deal Ranch is just past the small town of McLeod on the right. Follow signs for parking and to the check-in and registration.
