Description
On June 14, 2014 Great Lakes Diabetes Charity
will be holding it's 3rd Annual Cruising for Diabetes Camp 5k Walk and
Run! The event will take place in Central Lake, MI, beginning at Central
Lake High School and ending downtown Central Lake. Registration is
from 8-8:30 am and the race begins at 9 am. Pre-registration closes
May 30 and is $15 for adults (includes t-shirt) and $10 for seventeen
and under (includes t-shirt). Day of registration is $20 for adults and
$15 for seventeen and under. The money raised at the event will go
toward sponsoring type one diabetic children to attend Camp Midicha, an American Diabetes Association
camp located in Fenton, Michigan. Since 2009 Great Lakes Diabetes
Charity has been able to sponsor 8 kids for camp; help us to continue
