5K Triple Crown "Run for the Roses" 5K

• "Run For The Roses" 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles

Three local groups are joining forces to raise money, promote their causes and increase tourism in  Fulton County with the 5K Triple Crown presented by St. Marys Healthcare. Three 5K races will be held on three different days resulting in one male and female grand champion. There will also be cash prizes and medals awarded and other prize drawings for those who enter the 5K Triple Crown.

Glove Cities Rotary will host the Run for the Roses 5K on Saturday, May 3^rd.  There will be a 7:30 a.m. registration and 9 a.m. run starting from Partners Pub, 21 S. William St., Johnstown.

Mountain Valley Hospice will host the second 5K run on Preakness Weekend,  Sunday May 18^th with a 9 a.m. registration and 10 a.m. run at the  FMCC Campus, 2805 St. Hwy. 67, Johnstown.  This will be followed by their annual walk which will begin at 1pm.  (visit www.mvhcares.org for more details and registration information)

Lexington will host their 10^th Annual 5K race on the day of the Belmont, Saturday, June 7^th with 8 a.m. registration and a 9 a.m. run, starting from Lexington, 465 N. Perry St., Johnstown.
