2014 CHARITY
The charity beneficiary for the Heroes in Recovery 6K Trail Run/Walk is the Collegiate Recovery Community at UNC Charlotte. They support students recovering from addictions and offer programming, resources and activities which provide a pathway to both recovery and academic achievement. The Collegiate Recovery program offers weekly 12 step meetings, experiential activities, peer-mentorship as well as volunteer opportunities where sober students serve their community, build friendships, develop a solid support system, and build a lifetime of fun, happy memories.

(Don't forget to register online) Each volunteer will receive a Heroes Volunteer shirt at check in.
