RSD River Ramble (Rochester School for the Deaf)

The 6th Annual RSD River Ramble will begin and end on the RSD campus, 1545 St. Paul Street. Proceeds benefit deaf and hard-of-hearing students at Rochester School for the Deaf. Participants can run, walk or ramble on a scenic route along the Genesee Riverway Trail (5K route certified to be accurate by the USATF #NY121108KL). Awards to the top runners and fundraisers in various categories. First 250 registrants will receive a dri-fit or cotton River Ramble t-shirt. Early registrants (prior to 5/22) also receive a free runner's shoe wallet. Chip timing of runners by YellowJacket Racing. Post-race reception includes great refreshments; bounce house and childrens games; live music; and sponsor booths.
Turn right out of the RSD service road on the north side of the soccer field. Head south on St. Paul Street. Turn right onto Driving Park Avenue. After crossing the bridge, make an immediate right onto the Genesee Riverway Trail. Loop back onto the trail once you have reached the turnaround marker and water table. Prior to exiting the trail back onto Driving Park Avenue, turn right at the north end of the Rose Garden Park onto Maplewood Avenue. Turn left onto Rose Street, left onto Lake Avenue, left onto Driving Park Avenue, left onto St. Paul Street, then left again onto the RSD soccer field service road. After 200 feet turn right and head toward the finish line at the north end of the basketball court.
