Description
Kingdom Run (half marathon, 5K & 10K) is an out
& back race on scenic dirt roads in the rural Northeast Kingdom of
Vermont. 5K & 10K walkers are welcome. Registration opens at
7:15AM on the Irasburg Common. 8:30AM- half marathon runners and all
walkers start. 9:00AM- 5K & 10K runners start.
Complimentary refreshments are topped off with blueberry sundaes. Prizes
for winners in six age categories. Kingdom Run combines a competitive,
athletic event with the old-fashioned hospitality and charm of a small town in
rural Vermont.
Course Info
Kingdom Run is an out & back race on scenic, well-maintained dirt roads with little vehicular traffic. The race begins and ends on Irasburg Common. 5K & 10K hills are moderate with gradual inclines mostly on the way out. Half marathon: more challenging terrain, but no monster hills.
Directions
Irasburg Common is located on Route 58 four miles west of I-91 Exit 26 in Orleans, Vermont.
