Red Rock Gym will be hosting our 2nd
annual 5k run and One Mile Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, July 12th at
8:00 P.M. Both events are open to all ages. The race is dog friendly. This will
be a full moon night run and we will have glow sticks to hand out to race
participants to wear during the race. Red Rock Gym would like to invite
everyone to come out and have a lot of fun. It is a predominately flat course
great for every level of runner. Red Rock Gym is very excited about the races,
so please bring your family and friends out to cheer you on! This year we have
joined with a local non-profit organization that helps people in this area that
are experiencing a debilitating illness.
The Hinton Community Health Fund has helped many area families over the
years, and the funds go directly to our neighbors in need. The 5k
will be a professionally timed event and the one mile will be an untimed event.
The 5k is on a certified course and this event is sanctioned by USATF and all
rules apply. Runners with dogs are encouraged. All dogs must be leashed for the
duration of the event. All dogs should be up-to-date on all vaccinations. Only
one dog per runner/walker. Please do not bring a dog that is aggressive or out
of control. Event officials reserve the right to refuse aggressive animals.
Please be responsible and courteous. Be prepared to clean up after your pet.
