Mark your calendars for February 21, 2015 to join over 2,500 runners to celebrate Mardi Gras Baton Rouge style! Whether you are running the One Mile Fun Run, 10k or 15k the whole family can wind down Carnival Season with the Mardi Gras Mambo.
For the past 16 years, the Baton Rouge Area Sports Foundation has partnered with Club South Runners to produce the Mardi Gras Mambo 10k/15k road race. In 2014, the Mardi Gras Mambo had its largest field ever as 2,450 runners registered for the event. The 17th annual edition of the Mardi Gras Mambo will be ran in downtown Baton Rouge.
Early registration is only $15 for 10k runners and $25 for 15k runners. Registration includes a long sleeve, soft-style cotton shirt, custom Mambo finishers medal, personalized bib number, disposable chip timing, and access to the post-race fete in the North Boulevard Town Square in downtown Baton Rouge.
