Description
Come enjoy this twist on a traditional triathlon with this Winter Triathlon Series sanctioned by USAT at the brand new Nordic Valley Ski Resort (Formerly Wolf Mountain) just a few miles East of Ogden Utah. The Run course starts after a lift ride to the top of Nordic Valley. Using a trail the runners will head down the mountain on a packed snow course to the base for a 3.1 Mile run. After this runners will transition onto a Bike course on the road with 6.2 Miles of a ride loop on farm trip roads back to Nordic Valley and the transition area. This last leg is a Cross Country Ski course on the old unused golf course that will be graded out with snow mobiles for a 3.1 Mile Cross Country Ski Course.
Course Info
Run Course - 3.1 Miles (5K) on packed snow down from Nordic Valleys top hill to the base. You will ride a lift to the starting line.
Bike Course - 6.2 Miles (10K) on paved road (unless the road is iced over in which time we will switch you to the golf course route with packed snow). This Looped Course is over farm and ranch type roads in this mountain area. Primarily flat with a few climbs. (If you do the run only option you will not do this or the XC Ski Course)
XC Ski Course - 3.1 Miles (5K) on groomed trail on the unused golf course. Cross Country skis can be rented from most any wilderness rec or Weber State University. (If you do the duathlon or the run only option you will not do this course. )

Directions
From Ogden go East up 12th Street up Ogden Canyon and make a left turn over the dam. Follow the signs to Nordic Valley Ski Resort. From the Dam you will stay North about 5 miles until you make a left turn on Nordic Valley Road and head West to the Ski Resort which is around 1 mile.
