Come join us for Woodfin’s Third Annual 5K Race!  Tell all your friends and family, and whether you are a walker, beginner, intermediate runner, or a pro, it will be a good time!  The race begins and ends at Woodfin Elementary School, followed by awards.

 There will be timing equipment with race numbers, awesome prizes & awards, & great sponsors, vendors, and food.  Bring the kids out to this family friendly event too.

 Get involved with your community and help support Woodfin Elementary School and the Woodfin YMCA!

PARKING:
Free parking will be available at and nearby Woodfin Elementary School.

RACE PACKETS:

Race packets will be available for pickup on Friday, May April 29th, from 3pm-6pm, at Woodfin Elementary School. They will also be available beginning at 7am on race day.

COURSE:

The race will begin and conclude at Woodfin Elementary School. The course map can be found at the following link.  The course will be exactly 5k/3.1miles, and the Google map is just a rough visual.  http://www.plotaroute.com/route/44605

AWARDS:

Each participant will receive a T-shirt. Shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by April 9th. Awards will be given to the overall male and female finishers, and to the top males and females in each of the following categories: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 & 60+

SAFETY:

For the safety of all runners, no dogs, bikes, in-line skates, roller skates, or wheeled vehicles will be permitted on the course. In accordance with RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) Guidelines, the use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. Runner safety is a top priority at this event. Please, be mindful of other participants and respect the race personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable race for everyone.
