Description

Frontier Fiesta 5K for the Brave
Frontier Fiesta 5K for the Brave is a competitive community run created to highlight our Texas patients and their families and the bravery they demonstrate every day as they go through the diagnosis, treatment and lifelong challenge of living with chronic, life-threatening diseases.

Both the 5K Run and the Hope, Steps & A Cure patient & family walk are meant to increase community awareness about bone marrow failure diseases while raising much needed funds for the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF) to provide programs and services to help patients and families.

Hope, Steps & A Cure Patient & Family Walk

Hope, Steps & A Cure Houston is a fun and festive patient & family walk for the community of Houston. This year we are very grateful to be hosted by the iconic Frontier Fiesta at the University of Houston, an incredible opportunity to reach a larger audience and educate more people about bone marrow failure disease and the work of the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation.

Since 2010 we have held these events in Austin and then in San Antonio and now Houston, raising $156,000 for the patient & family services provided by AA&MDSIF and for their research for a cure. We have set a fundraising goal for ourselves and our teams of $50,000 for Hope, Steps & A Cure Houston 2015 & Frontier Fiesta 5K for the Brave.

Brave Little Soles
