The Big Game 10K celebrates the biggest weekend of the year in football. There will be, in addition to the 10K Run, a 5K Run/Community Walk & Kids’ Dashes. Cheerleaders and bands will appear along the course and at parties to cheer for the runners. Tim Kelly, President of the Las Vegas Track Club, is the Race Director.

The Big Game 10K starts at 8am, with the 5K following at 8:15am on Feb. 1st behind the Container Park on Carson Ave and 7th Street. The Kids’ Dashes will begin at 9:30am. Travel packages thru local hotels, including The Grand, the Four Queens, “the D,” and the El Cortez Hotel, are available for the out-of-area runners or local runners and walkers wanting to have a fun weekend in Downtown Las Vegas.

A complete Big Game weekend of activities surrounds the event, starting with the Kickoff Party on Friday, Jan. 30th at Downtown Container Park. A Touchdown Tailgate and Awards Ceremony at the ‘Gold Spike’ will immediately follow the race on Sunday, Feb. 1st. Most pre-race activities and race-day events will be centered in Downtown Las Vegas around Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday, Feb. 1st.
