Description

The original race that Calico Racing has been bringing to you since 2008 will now be produced by BBSC Running.

Join us for the first of many new running events to come from BBSC Endurance Sports! We're starting off our running series with the MARDI GRAS run! We encourage you to bring your costume or mask. Either way, wonderful things are to be seen and experienced at this wonderful season opener for BBSC. Competitive runners and casual walkers with both have an eventful time enjoying the festivities. This paved course is closed entirely to vehicular traffic and will introduce many local runners to a widely unknown resource of the Las Vegas Valley. Bring your family and friends for this grand parade of colorful costumes. Prizes will be awarded for best costume and best mask! We will keep the music bumping at the finish line for a great NEW ORLEANS STYLE post-race party!

5K Course

Start Time: 8:00am

Start at Equestrian Park western most loop, stay on the southern side of the loops, running out 1.55 miles (toward Railroad Pass Casino), turn around and come back via the northern side of the loops. Finishing at Equstrian Park.

10K Course
Start Time: 8:05am

Start at Equestrian Park western most loop, stay on the southern side of the loops, running out 3.1 miles (toward Railroad Pass Casino), turn around and come back via the northern side of the loops. Finishing at Equestrian Park.

Directions

To find Equestrian Park from Las Vegas: Take I-515 to the Horizon Drive exit, at the top of the exit, turn left (east) on Horizon Drive and go( 1-1/2 miles) to Boulder Highway, turn right (south) on Boulder Highway, go south one block to the next traffic light (Equestrian). At the traffic light turn left (east) on Equestrian Drive to the corner of Magic Way.
