Description
This is the third annual Running With An Angel, Samantha Porter 5k Run/Walk which is held in early March each year to celebrate the birthday of Samantha Porter while raising funds for the Samantha Porter Memorial Scholarship which is given out each May to graduating seniors of North Daviess High School, where Samantha attended. Samantha was killed in an automobile accident on September 28, 2012 when she was a senior at North Daviess High School. Samantha's family have created this scholarship fund to assist graduating seniors with their costs of college in memory of Samantha. There will be a silent auction, a free cookout, a kids' 1 mile fun run, balloon release and the 5k running/walking event.
