5K run and 2 mile walk

May 2, 2015 – Race starts at 9 am

Race options include a 5K run timed by Manhattan Running Company and an untimed 2-mile walk – both open to anyone!  Featuring a flat race course.  Medals for the male and female overall winners as well as first, second, and third place medals for five age groups of males and females.  The race course will start and finish at the Flint Hills Center, 401 Houston St, Manhattan, KS.  Register by April 10, 2015 to be guaranteed a race t-shirt!

Register by April 10, entry fee is $25 per individual for chip timed 5K and $20 for untimed 2-mile walk.

Register after April 10, $30 for chip timed 5K, $25 for untimed 2-mile walk.

This race is sponsored by North-Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging (NC-FH AAA), a private, non-profit organization, which plans, coordinates, and sponsors services across 18 counties in northeast Kansas. This race benefits “Solutions for Seniors” provided by NC-FH AAA including Meals on Wheels, In-Home Care Services, Medicare Counseling, Options Counseling of aging and disability resources, and other essential services needed by many seniors and their caregivers.

Those under the age of 18 must have a guardian sign the waiver of liability. Dogs, skateboards, roller skates, and motorized vehicles are not allowed on the race course.
