• Rocket Run 5K:- Run 3.1 Miles
• 1 Mile Rocket Blast:- Run 1 Mile
• Comet Dash 1/4 mile:- Run 400 Meters

The Rocket Run 5K  is brought to you by the RMHS Athletic Booster Club, Inc which is a parent led Montgomery County Maryland based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides financial support for the Richard Montgomery High School Interscholastic athletic programs though organized fund-raising activities. The purpose of Booster Club is to raise school spirit through students, parents, administration, staff and members of the community. Not only is there a 5K, but there is also a 1 Mile Rocket Blast, and a 1/4 mile Comet Dash.

The Booster Club objectives are to promote greater awareness of the significant value of athletics in the development of our youth, foster an atmosphere of good sportsmanship throughout the athletic programs in which our students participate, and supplement bridge the financial gap left by the MCPS athletic department budget allocation. 100% of every dollar raised or donated is reinvested into our students. A donation today is an investment into a child and a contribution to the RM Community.  When family’s get involved, all students WIN!! – Please join us on May 9th and Rocket On!
