Description

Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 8:00 am (Central) at the Hutsonville City Park, Hutsonville, IL for a terrific spring race that offers something for everyone. Participants may compete in the 5K or in the duathlon (2-mile run, 20-mile bike ride, and a concluding 2-mile run). Registration and packet pick-up begins at 6:45 am and continues until 7:45 am. Registration fee (prior to April 15, 2015) is $25 per individual or $50 per duathlon team (one biker and one runner). Fees increase to $30 and $60, respectively, after this date. Entry fees are not refundable. The race will commence rain or shine.Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt (if registered prior to April 15), a finisher medal, a goody bag, and post-race refreshments. All participants will also be eligible for randomly drawn door prizes. Awards will be presented immediately after each race (5K and duathlon) in the following age categories: 20 and under, 21 – 20, 31 – 40, 41 – 50, 51 – 60, and 61 and over. Also receiving recognition will be the overall 5K winner (male and female), the overall individual duathlon winner (male and female), and the duathlon team winners.

Course Info

any appreciate participating in the event because the course is flat and fast. For duathlon participants, the 2-mile run is out and back, and the 20-mile lollipop route is flat with some gently rolling hills. The 5K run is a loop through town.

Directions

Hutsonville, IL lies along Rte 154, which runs from Illinois to Indiana. From Rte 154, turn south onto Rose Street. City Park signage marks Rose Street. Proceed less than 1 mile south.
