Description

This event is an annual fundraiser for AVA Care of Harrisonburg (formerly known as Harrisonburg Pregnancy Center). Walkers, runners and children of all fitness levels are welcome to participate in the walk/run and other fun family-friendly activities that Back Home on the Farm offers. No pets allowed.  Every week, the staff and volunteers of AVA Care meet with women who are facing an unintended pregnancy. And every week, we are there for her…no matter what she decides. Help us meet women at the crossroad of uncertainty and possibility. Your participation as a sponsored walker/runner in the Move for Life provides needed funds for AVA Care so that we can be there when she needs us most.  AVA Care is a 501(c)3 medical non-profit that has been serving the community since 1984.
