2015 Highland Races - Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and Games:
• This race will be held at Maryville College in conjunction with the Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival and games. The half marathon route leaves the campus and works its way down and back on the Maryville green-way. Race participants will receive a Sunday pass to attend the festival once they complete the course. Since this is our first year, we're doing up the goody bag right! Half marathoners will receive a race shirt, finisher's medal and beer mug that can be used at the festival. Awards will be given out to overall winners and age group winners. Bring the non-runners too! There's plenty to do at the festival while they're waiting for the runners to return. The Scottish Festival begins on May 15th and will end on May 17th around 4pm.
