Tone Up for Tune Ups 2015
- Tone Up for Tune Ups:- Run 3.1 Miles
The fourth annual Tone Up for Tune Ups is set to take place on Saturday May 16, 2015 at 9:00am.
TUTU is a 5km run/walk event for all ages (there is also a 1 mile portion). The function takes place at Covenant Prebyterian Church in Southfield, MI. Refreshments will be provided both before and after the run.
Registration Fee:
Early Registration (before April 1, 2015)
Adults: $20
Youth (13 & under): $15
Standard Registration
Adults: $25
Youth (13 & under): $20
Additional donations beyond the registration fee are graciously accepted and will really make a difference for those in need. All donations are tax deductible. We not only want to raise money for a worthy cause, but want to bring people in neighboring communities together on this day. In other words, we want you there!
How it startedThe event was created in 2012 out of participation in the Self Expression and Leadership Program through Landmark Education. The project was supported by numerous people and was a huge success! Numerous families in the metro Detroit area have benefited from the money raised in Tone Up for Tune Ups.
Southfield Human ServicesThe Department of Southfield Human Services provides support for its community in a wide range of ways. They support Tone Up for Tune Ups by managing the people that are the beneficiaries of the event, filtering the money to needy families that have gone through an intensive qualification process.
