2015 Claypeak 5k Run / Walk to the Cross:

• This event is a 5K run that peaks at the hill called Claypeak above Payette, Idaho. It has a vertical rise of about 400 feet. It peaks in a great view over looking the Western Treasure Valley and contains about a mile of fairly steep dirt road. It is a very challenging 5k run, or a great morning walk with a beautiful view.

• The race is part of Payette Apple Blossom Festival.
• Event starts at 8:30 AM at the McCain Middle School in Payette on May 16th.
• It is a family event and is a Run/Walk for the entire family.

• Preregister is a minimum $25 tax deductible donation or $30 the day of the race. All Money raised goes to support the cross on Clay Peak. If you just want to participate with no shirt, participant package, or timing, than it is free.

• This event has grown each year and is an all around great event. After the event you will have plenty of time to attend the parade, car show, craft show, and carnival in downtown Payette.
