Description

The Shamrock Shuffle was created to benefit the students of Shamrock Gardens Elementary school which serves the Plaza Midwood and Country Club Heights neighborhoods of Charlotte. Shamrock Gardens is a Title One school with 85% of students receiving free or reduced lunch. As such we are seeking to fill in the gaps by creating an event that will support the school, and strengthen the relationship between the school and the community that surrounds it. The monies raised as a result of the 5K will be used for educational enrichment tools used in the class room.  Tools that would otherwise not be available to the children at Shamrock.
